Brambles Country College is an outdoor learning and countryside-skills education centre. We provide a range of courses for people of all ages and levels of ability.
As a special Easter treat we will be open to the general public on Easter Sunday and Monday from 10.00 - 4.00 each day! Click here to read more.
We are a based on a working smallholding which focuses on rearing special breeds of pigs, goats, poultry and rabbits. Amongst our many other creatures are rhea, miniature hedgehogs and tortoises.
We have a perfect environment for different ways of learning practical work and life skills, as well as integrating practical functional Maths and English within day to day life in the farm workplace.
We are situated in the middle of Castlemorton Common, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with spectacular views over the Malvern Hills and the Severn Valley.
There is an air of safe haven, calmness, quiet and beauty. This naturally leads to a feeling of wellbeing and supports a relaxed way of learning.
Courses range from vocational study programmes for individual children and young people, through one off and regular structured courses for schools and special groups to Special one day courses for adults who want to learn about running a smallholding.
Through our sister organisation Brambles Living Farm we offer:
- Animal Assisted Therapy
- Brambles Buddies programme of Animal Assisted Activities. These give meaning and structure to life and experience of work, which is especially beneficial for people with special needs and those whose lives have been through trauma or disruption.
- If appropriate children and young people can transition from Animal Assisted Therapy through Brambles Buddies Animal Assisted Activities to the individual vocational accredited courses offered by Country College.
Note: Our smallholding is not open to the general public.
Visits are by appointment only please.
